REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP NO. 2026-01 PROVISION OF FOOD SERVICES FOR DETAINEE MEALS

Bolivar County is seeking a qualified vendor to manage all aspects of food service for detainees at the Bolivar County Regional Correctional Facility. The contract will cover daily meal preparation, procurement of food items, sanitation, staffing, menu planning, and comprehensive record‑keeping for an average inmate population of roughly 372 (maximum 399). The vendor must be able to provide seven (7) meals per day, seven days a week, and support related program services. • Provide complete food‑service management (procurement, preparation, sanitation, staffing). • Deliver seven meals daily for up to ~400 detainees, with menu development and nutritional compliance. • Maintain detailed records and reporting as required by the correctional facility. • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and correctional regulations. • Offer program support services related to detainee nutrition and wellness.
