The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is seeking vendor input on commercially available software solutions and implementation services to modernize its statewide financial‑management ecosystem, which currently supports ~ $14 billion in state and federal funds across 115 school districts and 200+ independent public schools. The RFI is purely informational; responses will help NCDPI validate requirements, assess market options, and shape a future procurement strategy for an integrated, scalable ERP/finance system. Vendors are asked to describe functional capabilities (allotment, cash, grant, budgeting, reporting, AI/ML, integration, security, etc.), implementation approaches, licensing models, total cost of ownership, and reference customers.
