THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT - COPPER VALLEY TELECOMM

The US Coast Guard Sector Western Alaska and Arctic Region is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for unlimited internet services. The contract will be awarded to Copper Valley Telephone Cooperative Incorporation, as they have the necessary wired infrastructure in place and their commercial internet service has been reviewed and approved by the US Coast Guard Cyber. The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price award, and the performance will take place in Valdez, AK. • The US Coast Guard is seeking to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12. • The NAICS Code for this requirement is 517111. • Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact. • The Government intends to evaluate such capabilities/qualifications solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
