The US Air Force is conducting market research to find a tracked over-snow transportation and grooming system to support ski hill operations, winter tours, and patron transportation at Eielson AFB, AK. The system should include a passenger sled capable of carrying up to six adults and three children, as well as ski trail grooming capability. The package should also include safety equipment, lighting systems, engine heating system, enclosed passenger accommodations, and an F-250 groomer with a cross-country ski track setter. The required system should operate reliably in interior Alaska winter conditions and provide passenger transportation capability.
