RFP E-2627-002 Stage Lighting and Rigging System

The District seeks a design‑build contractor to fully upgrade the high school’s theatrical lighting and rigging system. The scope includes removal of existing fluorescent work lights and dead‑hung projector screen, installation of new LED work lights, addition and re‑weighting of line‑sets, refurbishment of curtain hardware, core‑drilling for cable paths, and optional side‑tormentor and truss alternates. All work must comply with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and ADA requirements, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, training, and a one‑year warranty. • Remove legacy lighting, projector screen, and outdated rigging hardware. • Install LED fixtures, new line‑sets, re‑weighted counterweights, and updated curtain tracks/valances. • Provide optional side‑tormentor lighting pipes and motorized trusses as separate priced alternates. • Deliver complete, all‑inclusive pricing, meet rigorous safety and code standards, and supply required insurance and indemnity.
