R408--Worship Pianist at the Erie VA Medical Center

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VA Medical Center, is seeking a worship pianist to provide musical leadership for Roman Catholic and Protestant worship services. The pianist will be expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled services and provide 10 minutes of prelude music. The contract will be for 5 years, with a base year and four 1-year options. The pianist will need to have experience with a VA chapel or a religious congregation and possess the skills to perform hymns with a high level of accuracy. Key responsibilities include: • Providing piano or keyboard accompaniment for worship services • Having experience with a VA chapel or a religious congregation • Possessing the skills to perform hymns with a high level of accuracy • Providing one piece of special music for each service, if requested • Completing mandatory trainings required by VHA
