Temporary Grounds Maintenance services at newly obtained residence

The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia is seeking a contractor to provide temporary grounds maintenance services for its newly obtained residence. The services include gardening, yard maintenance, snow clearing, ice control, and gravel application. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the designated grounds in a neat, clean, and safe condition across all seasons. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with one option to renew for an additional 12 months. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, transportation, and equipment to perform the services. • The contractor will be responsible for lawn maintenance, including mowing, pinecone and needle removal, and debris and branch removal. • The contractor will be responsible for snow clearing, ice control, and gravel application during the winter months. • The contractor will be required to perform a one-time comprehensive sweep, collection, and off-site disposal of all winter gravel/grit applied to the walkways, roads, and parking lots during the winter months. • The contractor will be required to comply with all local labor laws, regulations, customs, and practices pertaining to labor, safety, and similar matters. • The contractor will be required to maintain adequate commercial general liability and worker’s compensation insurance as required by Estonian law.
