Description
The State of Maine seeks a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, paint, and install a heavy‑duty steel service body on a 2026 GMC K2500HD pickup. The body must meet detailed specifications for material thickness, construction, compartments, lighting, and finish, and the vendor must handle full installation and integration of electrical components at the State’s central fleet facility in Augusta.
• Supply a custom 8‑ft, 4×4 steel service body (14‑gauge galvanized steel, stainless‑steel hardware, epoxy‑primer and polyurethane finish).
• Provide all required accessories (backup alarm, trailer hitch, fuel‑fill cone, electrical wiring, backup camera relocation, etc.) and perform on‑site installation, testing, and final inspection.
• Deliver a firm FOB‑Destination price, include warranty information, and be able to ship the completed unit to Augusta, ME.
