SWASEY FUELS REDUCTION HAND CUT

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is requesting quotes for a hand cutting and piling project to reduce hazardous fuels in the Swasey Recreation Area, Shasta County, California. The project involves hand thinning, hand piling, and pile covering of hazard fuels on 295 acres of public land. The contractor will be responsible for providing personnel, equipment, and materials to complete the project. The project has a period of performance from October 1st, 2026, to October 1st, 2027, with an optional year from October 1st, 2027, to October 1st, 2028. • The contractor will be required to provide a treatment plan and schedule, as well as a safety plan and fire prevention plan. • The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with BLM personnel and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the contract and applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and bonding, as well as comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
