The USDA Forest Service is issuing a synopsis for a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for Wallowa-Whitman/Umatilla Mechanical and Hand Thinning BPA. The requirement is to cut as much non-seed orchard tree vegetation as possible within the enclosed seed orchards, to reduce fire risk and intensity, and to reduce the spread of undesirable vegetation. • The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this acquisition is 115310 Forestry Services. • The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice. • The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice. • Submission instructions: parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this notice by close of business June 5, 2026.
