Staffing for Wildlife Management (Bob White)

Clemson University is seeking proposals from national conservation non-profit organizations to provide habitat management services, including prescribed fire, herbicide applications, planting, and brush/tree control. The selected vendors will provide full-time habitat management services to state wildlife agencies and Clemson University. The contract will be for a five-year term, with the option for additional awards to be made during that time. The university is looking for vendors with experience in habitat management, particularly those with knowledge of native grassland plant and animal species, grazing systems, and exotic plant control. • The contract will be a fixed-price contract, with the university paying a set price for the services provided. • The vendors will be required to provide monthly reports on their activities and progress. • The university is seeking vendors with a strong understanding of environmental, agricultural, and natural resource land management. • The vendors will be required to work independently with little supervision, and to communicate effectively with colleagues and partner agencies.
