Green Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) for Bike Lane and Other Hi-Visibility Striping

The City of Napa is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of green methyl methacrylate (MMA) pavement marking material for use in bike lane striping applications. The vendor shall provide unit pricing and total pricing for the quantities requested, and the pricing shall remain firm for the duration of the procurement process. The materials shall meet the minimum specifications, including Caltrans standards for Methyl Methacrylate Traffic Striping Paint. The vendor shall also provide product data sheets, safety data sheets, and technical specifications upon request. • The City intends to request orders in 40-unit (kit) increments. • The total number of orders will depend on actual need. • The City will issue a Blanket Purchase Order to the awarded vendor. • The total amount has yet to be determined. • The kits shall include the MMA, catalyst, and aggregate. • The City purchases reflective beads separately. • The material shall be suitable for roadway and bike lane pavement marking applications and shall meet applicable industry standards for durability, skid resistance, and color consistency.
