RFP 2026 – 2029 Bridge Maintenance Engineering Term Contract

The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking qualified consulting firms to enter into up‑to‑two term contracts (2026‑2029) to provide bridge maintenance engineering services statewide. The work includes inspection review, field investigations, repair design, load‑rating analyses, emergency response engineering, and data entry into the state’s Bridge Structure Management System. Qualified firms must have a Montana‑licensed Professional Engineer and certified bridge inspection team leaders, and must be able to support the contract on an as‑needed basis using MDT’s standard Autodesk software. • Perform on‑call structural engineering services for bridge inspection, evaluation, and repair design. • Provide load‑rating analyses, emergency assessments, and construction support as required. • Update and maintain bridge data in MDT’s Bridge Structure Management System and deliver technical reports, cost estimates, and sealed design drawings.
