Investment Advisory Services

Western Washington University is seeking a consultant to provide investment advisory services for the University's investment portfolio. The consultant will be responsible for recommending changes to the investment policy, evaluating the portfolio and cash flows, and providing comprehensive monthly reports. The consultant will also be required to provide on-going investment education to University staff and conduct portfolio and policy compliance reviews with University administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience providing advisory services to public sector organizations and be a registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). • The consultant will be required to recommend changes to the investment policy to achieve University objectives and comply with State and Federal regulations. • The consultant will be required to evaluate the portfolio and cash flows and recommend investment strategies that best suit the University's objectives. • The consultant will be required to provide comprehensive monthly reports of portfolio activity and performance. • The consultant will be required to provide on-going investment education to University staff. • The consultant will be required to conduct portfolio and policy compliance reviews with University administration at least annually.
