The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualified vendors to provide brass fittings for water meters and pipe, various sizes, for a term contract. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible respondent or bidder, unless a certified small business enterprise (SBE) bidder's price is within 10% of the lowest non-SBE bidder's price. The vendor must comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy and provide equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers to participate in all of its public sector and private sector subcontracting and supply opportunities. • The vendor must have a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades to receive a local preference. • The vendor must submit a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency issued by the State of Florida or the Palm Beach County Construction Industry Licensing Board. • The vendor must maintain a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County and all permits required to complete the contractual service at no additional cost to Palm Beach County. • The vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations that affect the goods and services covered under the contract.
