COMPOST FACILITY ODOR REDUCTIONS IMP -II (650375-100003)

The City of Columbus is accepting bids for Compost Facility Odor Reduction Improvements - Part 2 (650375-100003). The work consists of increasing processing capacity with the construction of a new Composting Pad (Pad #3), increasing the Leachate Lagoon capacity, constructing a new bulk storage/laydown area outside the facility gate for civilian drop-off, upgrading site security and safety, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract. The project will be done in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in the Invitation For Bid (IFB). Key aspects of the project include: • Increasing processing capacity with the construction of a new Composting Pad (Pad #3) • Increasing the Leachate Lagoon capacity • Constructing a new bulk storage/laydown area outside the facility gate for civilian drop-off • Upgrading site security and safety • Completing other necessary work as specified in the contract
