RFQ Parks- On-Call Landscape Architecture Consultant(s) for Parks, Recreation, & Trails Projects

The City of Issaquah is seeking on-call landscape architecture consultant(s) to provide a range of planning, design, technical reports, and administration/management services for parks, recreation, and trails projects. The selected consultant(s) will be required to provide services on an as-needed basis, with the City reserving the right to reject any and all submittals. The scope of work includes landscape architecture studies, public outreach, design, and construction administration. The City intends to retain up to four on-call firms to ensure a variety of specialties are represented. • Develop site feasibility studies • Provide conceptual planning for short and long-range planning efforts • Develop open space planning for preservation, restoration, and mitigation sites • Develop critical area and resource management planning strategies for individual and system-wide projects • Develop SWOT (Opportunities and Constraints) assessments and mapping • Site and circulation layout and design for pedestrians, bicycles, and vehicles • Preparation and attendance at City department(s), City Council, Board, and community presentations • Provide support for focus groups and shareholder meetings & workshops • Preparation of materials for on-line workshops and surveys • Preparation of presentation materials for public meetings, Council & Board presentations, social media outreach, surveys & mapping • Development of renderings and 3-D visualizations
