CDBG - Minor Home Repair

Dane County is soliciting applications from organizations interested in operating a minor home repair program for low-and-moderate income residents of single-family owner-occupied housing located in the Dane County Urban County Consortium. The program will provide funding for repairs such as abatement of asbestos hazards, chimney repair, code repairs, and more. The maximum amount of funding for the Minor Home Repair project area is approximately $58,000.00. • The program aims to benefit low- and moderate-income persons. • Eligible applicants include public or private non-profit agencies, units of local government, and Community-Based Development Organizations. • The program requires a Language Access Plan and an Appeals Process/Policy. • The contract term will be for the full grant term, and the project must be implementation-ready by Quarter 1 of 2027.
