Hauling of Solid Waste to Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Disposal Site

The Walthall County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the hauling of solid waste to a municipal solid waste landfill disposal site. The contract will be for a period of up to four years, and bidders should provide rates on a "per ton" and "per mile" basis for approximately 140 mile and 160 mile round trips. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. • The bid submission deadline is June 1, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. • The bids will be opened as soon as conveniently possible after the submission deadline. • Additional specifications may be obtained upon request from the Board of Supervisors. • The contract is for the hauling of solid waste from the proposed Walthall County Transfer Station to a permitted municipal solid waste landfill disposal site.
