Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

Based on the specifications, the contract is expected to be for a 5-year period, with the vendor supplying various water treatment chemicals and testing equipment. The usage of these chemicals is estimated to be approximately 100 gallons per year for boiler treatments and 210 gallons per year for cooling tower chemicals. Assuming an average cost of $5 per gallon for these chemicals, the total annual cost would be around $1,550 for boiler treatments and $1,050 for cooling tower chemicals. Over the 5-year contract period, the total cost would be approximately $82,500 for boiler treatments and $52,500 for cooling tower chemicals. Additionally, the vendor will need to supply testing equipment and other miscellaneous chemicals, which could add to the overall cost. Therefore, a rough estimate for the total contract value could be between $200,000 and $500,000.
