Furnish Salt for the Department of Water Supply, County of Maui

The County of Maui is seeking bids to furnish salt for the Department of Water Supply. The contract duration will be approximately one year with the option to renew for up to four one-year extensions. The successful bidder will be required to provide Morton Culinox 99.9% Food Grade Salt, which meets the specifications of ANSI/AWWA Standard B200 and is Certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60. The salt will be packaged in 50 lb. multiwall, polyethylene-lined kraft paper bags and stored in a cool, dry, and covered facility. • The estimated quantity of salt required is 12,219 bags of 50 lb. each. • The bidder must have on-hand stock of one month's estimated supply of approximately 1,020 fifty-pound (50 lb) bags at the vendor's location on the island of Maui. • The vendor must maintain any permits and comply with all applicable regulations regarding storage. • The bidder shall provide a contact person and phone number for on-site pickup.
