POLK COUNTY HIGHWAY 1 TON AND PATCHING TRAILER

The Polk County Highway Department is seeking proposals for the purchase of a 1-ton crew mega cab 4x2 DRW, a 1-ton dump body, and a 1.5-ton heated patching trailer. The proposal packet and list of specifications can be obtained by contacting Rod McGee, the Fleet Manager. Proposals are due to the Polk County Highway Department by 3:00 PM on May 14th, 2026. The successful vendor will be notified by phone, and the installer shall have 90 days upon receipt of the truck to complete installation and deliver the completed truck to the Polk County Highway Department. • The proposal must include the price of the equipment and any additional costs. • The proposer must provide information about their ability to supply the product or service. • The proposer must notify the highway department in writing of any apparent major inconsistencies, problems, or ambiguities in the specifications. • The Polk County Highway Department reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in quoting or accepting quotations which best serves the interest of the Polk County Highway Department.
