Miami University’s Center for Advanced Microscopy and Imaging (CAMI) is seeking a vendor to supply, install, and support a high‑sensitivity, inverted laser‑scanning confocal microscope with super‑resolution capability for use as a shared core instrument. The system must provide quantitative spectral fluorescence imaging, high‑speed resonant and galvanometer scanning, near‑infrared detection, FRET, live‑cell/organism imaging, thick‑tissue and whole‑mount imaging, automated multidimensional acquisition, and integrated analysis software. The contract includes delivery, optical alignment, commissioning, on‑site training, ongoing technical support, and a service/maintenance plan through at least 1 year after installation. The award will be based on best value (price, performance, delivery, service, and reliability). The expected contract term runs from 11 Feb 2026 (effective) through 29 Jan 2028, with a maximum total duration of 24 months.
• Provide a fully integrated inverted confocal/super‑resolution microscope meeting detailed detector, laser, objective, and software specifications.
• Include all required lasers (405‑785 nm), detectors (spectral, NIR, super‑resolution), objectives, environmental control hardware, and a high‑performance workstation.
• Deliver, install, align, and commission the system by 29 Jan 2027.
• Provide initial training for core staff and users, plus continued application training and support through 1 Jan 2028.
• Offer warranty, preventive‑maintenance, and optional rebate or scholarship contribution.
