Description
The BLM Lakeview District is seeking a qualified contractor to rebuild approximately 2.59 miles of barbed‑wire fence along the Klamath River Canyon Rim. The work includes removal of existing fence material, site clearing, construction of new fence and gates, and disposal of old materials. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, small‑business set‑aside, with an estimated value between $100 k and $250 k. Work must commence within 10 calendar days of notice to proceed and be completed within 180 calendar days. The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, maintain required insurance, develop a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan, and comply with extensive environmental, fire‑season, and hazardous‑material regulations. A site visit can be arranged with BLM contacts, but is not mandatory.
