Dam 1 and 2 Bathymetric Survey

The City of Portland is seeking a contractor to perform bathymetric surveys of the Dam 1 and Dam 2 submerged areas, as well as a hands-on inspection of the Dam 1 spillway. The surveys will be used to assess facility conditions and create a baseline survey for these areas. The contractor will be required to provide monthly progress reports, invoices, and utilization reports, and will be expected to work closely with City personnel to accomplish the project goals. • The project requires specialized equipment such as submersibles and high-quality sonar. • The Dam 1 spillway survey will require harnesses for inspections. • The results of the surveys will be used to assess facility conditions. • The contractor will be required to provide a health and safety plan, inspection plan, and draft and final reports. • The City will provide comments on the draft reports and will work with the contractor to finalize the reports.
