Enterprise Storage System Replacement

The City of West Des Moines is seeking qualified firms to replace or modernize its enterprise storage environment, which currently runs on Qumulo Core software. Vendors may propose either a completely new clustered storage platform (Option A) or hardware that is compatible with the existing Qumulo software (Option B). The solution must deliver roughly 1.5 PB of raw capacity across two clusters, support redundant power, high‑speed network interfaces (10 GbE or preferred 25 GbE), and full integration with Active Directory, SMB/NFS, S3, snapshots, quotas, and replication. Proposals must include hardware, software, licensing, implementation services, support, warranty, and a detailed project schedule. Evaluation will consider technical compliance, support, cost of ownership (five‑year), implementation approach, and vendor qualifications.
