Federal Aid Project Auditing Services for the Construction of Heritage Trail Ext

The County of Orange is seeking quotations from qualified, experienced New York State registered Public Accounting Firms for the preparation of an Independent Accountants’ Report required as part of the Federal Aid Contract Close Out for a Heritage Trail Segment #2 Bike Route & Pedestrian Trail Extension. The selected consultant will be responsible for performing auditing services, including preparing the Independent Accountants’ Report, in accordance with the standards, skills, diligence, and quality control/quality assurance measures expected of the profession. The consultant will also be required to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, statutes, rules, and regulations. • The consultant must be a New York State registered Public Accounting Firm. • The consultant must have experience in performing auditing services for federal aid projects. • The consultant must be able to prepare an Independent Accountants’ Report in accordance with the required standards. • The consultant must be able to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, statutes, rules, and regulations. • The consultant must be able to perform the services within the specified timeframe. • The consultant must be able to provide the required insurance coverage.
