Heating Fuel

The Town of Narragansett is seeking bids for the delivery of No. 2 heating fuel to various Town facilities. The contract will be for a two-year period, with the option to extend annually. The successful bidder will be required to provide an on-call hourly rate for service calls and deliver fuel within a 24-hour period after notification by the Town facility. The fuel price shall be indicated as well as an on-call hourly rate for service calls. • The contract duration is for two years, with the option to extend annually. • The successful bidder will be required to provide an on-call hourly rate for service calls. • The fuel price shall be indicated as well as an on-call hourly rate for service calls. • The Town uses approximately 8,850 total gallons of heating fuel in one fiscal year. • The successful bidder will be required to deliver fuel to five Town facilities. • The contract requires the successful bidder to conform to the Department of Health Regulations on limiting sulfur content of fuels and regulations set forth by Mandatory Petroleum Allocation Rules and any other applicable Federal and Rhode Island State regulations and laws.
