Eaton Switchgear Breakers

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential qualified sources for the provision of Brand Name Only Eaton Switchgear Breakers. The breakers are required for the Wilmington VA Medical Center, and the contractor will be responsible for reviewing the switchgear requirements and determining the appropriate trip unit for the specified DS family switchgear breaker. The contractor must ensure the proposed trip unit and breaker configuration meet the required specifications, including 1600 amperage, LSIG trip functions, 3-pole configuration, 42kA AIC at 480V, and draw-out mounting requirements. • The breakers will be used as critical backup equipment to provide operational continuity in the event of a breaker failure. • The contractor must deliver the breakers to the Wilmington VA Medical Center, located at 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805. • The contractor must provide all equipment necessary to meet the Government’s requirements. • The contractor must verify compatibility and provide feedback or suggestions on the salient characteristics and statement of work.
