SE Eastgate Way Sidewalk

The City of Bellevue is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to provide comprehensive civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental design services for the SE Eastgate Way Sidewalk improvement project. The scope includes preliminary engineering, environmental studies, permitting, and the development of 30%, 60%, 90%, and final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates, as well as construction‑phase design support. The contract is expected to start in February 2027 and run for approximately two years, with an option to extend. The project is federally funded and includes a voluntary 10 % Small Business Enterprise participation goal. <br/><br/>• Prepare preliminary and detailed design packages (30‑90% and final) for sidewalk, curb‑gutter, planter strip, retaining wall, and associated utilities.<br/>• Conduct environmental documentation (ESA, NEPA/SEPA), obtain permits, and develop mitigation measures.<br/>• Perform geotechnical, storm‑water, water‑quality, and natural drainage design.<br/>• Provide design support during construction and coordinate with City, WSDOT, and other agencies.<br/>• Deliver cost estimates, specifications, and construction‑phase services as needed.<br/>• Meet professional licensing, SBE participation, and compliance requirements outlined in the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines.
