The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is issuing an RFQ to obtain a reliable source of occupational footwear for approximately 30 Transit Supervisors. The contract will span three years and may be adjusted for workforce changes. The vendor must supply a range of footwear styles (duty, slip‑resistant, athletic‑style, optional safety and waterproof shoes), provide sizing assistance, online ordering, exchange and warranty support, and deliver to RTA locations or directly to employees within 14 calendar days of order. Pricing must be firm for the contract term, and the vendor must comply with extensive federal, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Supply ~60 pairs per footwear category per year (duty, slip‑resistant, athletic, optional safety, optional waterproof).
• Provide both men’s and women’s sizes, including wide widths where available.
• Offer slip‑resistant soles, black or standard colors, and durable construction.
• Deliver within 14 days of order; replacements within 10 business days.
• Manage online ordering, sizing assistance, exchanges, warranty claims, and customer service during normal business hours.
• Maintain up‑to‑date catalogs, pricing, and notify RTA of discontinued items.
• Contract term: 36 months with possible extension option; firm‑price quotes required.
• Must meet Federal Transit Administration (FTA) clauses, DBE requirements, and environmental/ safety standards.
