Active Vehicle Barriers Maintenance

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for vehicle barrier systems at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other items and services necessary to maintain the vehicle barrier systems. The contract will be for a period of one year, with options to extend for up to four additional years. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable commercial and US military standards, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing maintenance services for vehicle barrier systems, including support equipment, control systems, and safety loops • Ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations • Providing all necessary personnel, labor, equipment, and materials • Performing periodic inspections and minor repairs • Maintaining accurate records and reports The ideal contractor will have experience in providing similar services, particularly in the context of military bases or other secure facilities. They will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the relevant standards and regulations, as well as the ability to work effectively with government personnel.
