Professional Auditing Services

The Queen Anne's County Board of Education is seeking professional auditing services for a period of five years. The selected auditor will be responsible for conducting annual audits of the Board's financial statements. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, conducting fieldwork, preparing audit reports, and presenting findings to the Board. The auditor will also be required to provide additional services such as reviewing and commenting on the Board's internal controls and making recommendations for improvement. • The auditor will be expected to have experience in auditing governmental entities and be familiar with the laws and regulations governing such audits. • The auditor will be required to maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during the audit and to comply with all applicable professional standards. • The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities or informalities as may best serve the interests of the Board.
