Elevator Maintenance, Inspections, and Repairs for Spokane VAMC

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide elevator maintenance, inspection, and repair services for the Spokane VAMC. The contract will cover six elevators located in different buildings. The contractor will be required to perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs, as well as provide labor and materials for work outside the weekly and semi-annual contract requirements. The contract will have a base period of performance, and the contractor will be required to maintain an adequate supply of spare parts on site. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining six elevators, including Elevator P1, P2, S3, Elevator 1 in Building 27, Elevator 1 in Building 40, and Elevator Pharmacy in Building 1 Pharmacy. • The contractor will be required to provide labor and materials for work outside the weekly and semi-annual contract requirements. • The contractor will be required to maintain an adequate supply of spare parts on site. • The contractor will not be required to provide a dedicated resident mechanic, but will be required to respond to emergency calls. • The contract will have a base period of performance, and the contractor will be required to provide pricing for monthly maintenance and inspection services, as well as labor rates for work performed outside the weekly and semi-annual contract requirements.
