2026 Nile Bridge Replacement #1396

The Yakima County is seeking consulting firms with expertise in bridge demolition, design, and construction for the Nile Road Bridge #1396 Replacement project. The project involves preparing preliminary engineering design, geotechnical investigation, environmental documentation, hydraulics, permit applications, plans, specifications, and estimate. The selected firm will be considered for a cost-plus fixed fee agreement for approximately 24 months. • The project is expected to start in November 2026 and be completed by December 2028. • The consultant will be responsible for preparing preliminary engineering design and other related tasks. • The selection process will be based on the evaluation of the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submissions, with the top three firms being further evaluated by interview. • The SOQ submissions should include firm name, phone number, name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager, and qualifications for employees proposed to contribute to the project.
