The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is soliciting applications for the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship (Parent F32). The goal of the NRSA F32 is to support promising candidates during their mentored postdoctoral training under the guidance of experienced faculty sponsors. The fellowship will provide the candidate with a strong understanding of rigorous research design, experimental methods, quantitative approaches, and data analysis. • The fellowship is intended to support postdoctoral training in scientific health-related fields relevant to the mission of the participating Institutes and Centers. • Candidates are expected to propose a research training project and training plan in consultation with their mentor(s). • The training plan should reflect the applicant’s research training project and facilitate and clearly enhance the individual’s potential to develop the necessary skills for further career advancement. • The fellowship will provide the candidate with a strong understanding of rigorous research design, experimental methods, quantitative approaches, and data analysis. • The research training project and training plans are expected to provide the candidate with a strong foundation for their future research career.
