School Nutrition Warehouse Generator Project

The Ector County ISD School Nutrition Department is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a complete turnkey generator solution for its nutrition warehouse. The scope includes assessing the existing generator and electrical system, performing load verification, supplying and delivering the generator equipment, installing and integrating it with the warehouse’s electrical infrastructure, testing, commissioning, and providing training and related incidental work. The solution must reliably power three walk‑in freezers and one walk‑in refrigerator during emergencies. The project will be evaluated on a Best Value basis and requires a mandatory site visit. • Turnkey design, supply, delivery, and installation of a backup generator system. • Assessment of current electrical infrastructure and load calculations. • Electrical integration, testing, commissioning, and operator training. • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • Mandatory site visit between 09/28/2026‑10/09/2026; proposals due 10/21/2026.
