Propane

The City of Lincoln and Lancaster County is seeking bids from qualified companies to provide the annual supply of propane. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsible, and responsive vendor whose bid substantially meets all of the required specifications, duties, terms, and conditions. The contractor shall have the capability to provide delivery and repair service within 12 hours of notification, 7 days a week. The contractor shall also provide regular safety inspections on city and county-owned cylinders and gas system checks on city and county-owned tanks/systems. • The contract will be for a period of one year. • The contractor shall provide propane to various city and county facilities, including parks, water treatment plants, and fire stations. • The contractor shall maintain existing functions at the facilities and protect the general public, employees, and buildings against damage during all portions of the project. • The contractor shall provide a customer service representative and telephone number for contact upon award. • The contractor shall provide delivery and meter tickets with specific information, including customer name, date of delivery, quantity of propane, and signature of accepting individual.
