High pressure Homogenizer (Laboratory Scale)

The USDA is seeking a high pressure homogenizer (laboratory scale) for the National Coldwater Marine Aquaculture Center. The homogenizer must meet certain minimum requirements, including a noise level of ≤65 dB, a working pressure of 30,000 psi, and the ability to operate using electrical power. The device should also have a heat exchanger or cooling coil, stainless steel construction, and a weight of 250 lbs or less. • The noise level shall be ≤65 dB. • Must be capable of 30,000 psi working pressure • Must operate using Electrical power (not reliant on compressed gas) • Include heat exchanger or cooling coil for cooling sample during processing. • Stainless steel construction with a feed reservoir of 500 mL or greater. • Weight of 250 lbs or less. • Capacity for online liposome extruder The delivery schedule is 60 days after award, and a 1-year warranty is required for the homogenizer.
