Compliance Consultant Services

The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh is seeking a compliance consultant to provide services including departmental on-site reviews, interpretation of complex federal and state regulations, and assistance with strategies for improvements. The consultant will also be responsible for gathering and interpreting data, making management presentations, and conducting research and developing strategies for recommendations to the Executive Director. The contract is for an initial term of three years with two one-year extension options, for a total of five years. The consultant will be required to work approximately 40-80 hours per month during the term of the agreement. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting departmental on-site reviews to determine Agency needs • Interpreting complex federal and state regulations • Gathering and interpreting data • Making management presentations • Conducting research and developing strategies for recommendations • Providing direct oversight to the Audit Department • Advising the Executive Director on regulatory changes
