The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources for a Modular Base with Kettles for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. The procurement is for a replacement of existing equipment that has reached the end of its life cycle. The contractor shall provide, install, de-install, transport, in-service, and test all listed equipment. The equipment must meet all salient characteristics and functions defined in the statement of work. Some key features of the required equipment include: • Factory assembled Kettle/Steam Boiler Nickel Gard Base combination with two 10-gallon kettles with 300M BTU Gas-Fired Steam Boiler • Solid-state steam boiler Water Level Controls • Low Water Safety Cut-Off • Pressure Limit Controls with 15 psi Safety Valve • Type 430 Stainless Steel exterior enclosure, and table top with Drain Trough (1.50-inch diameter male drain) • Type 304 Stainless kettles, #4 exterior finish The contractor shall also provide on-site training for the equipment users after installation is complete.
