Description
The Alaska Department of Health is seeking information from qualified vendors to develop a grantee funding formula methodology for the distribution of state and federal grant funds to regional ILP grantees. The formula should consider various factors such as revenue sources, regional cost differences, travel expenses, population, and enrollment numbers. The goal is to create an equitable funding methodology that takes into account the unique challenges faced by each program, especially those in rural locations.
• The funding formula should consider revenue generated through public and private insurance, Medicaid Administrative Claiming funds, Targeted Case Management billing, and local grants.
• The formula should be based on the cost of operating the program, geographic differences, and other factors that impact the cost of administering an early intervention program in Alaska.
• Vendors should have knowledge of Early Intervention federal and state regulations and experience assisting other states with similar work.
• The project duration is expected to be 12 months.
