The State of Connecticut’s Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Procurement office, on behalf of the New Britain Housing Authority, is seeking qualified legal counsel to provide comprehensive labor and employment services. The selected attorney will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, the Board of Commissioners, and executive management on collective bargaining, workplace investigations, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and related matters. The engagement is intended to be ongoing, covering all aspects of employment law, labor disputes, and employee benefits for the housing authority. • Scope includes advice on collective bargaining agreements and negotiations. • Conduct and support workplace investigations and dispute resolution. • Provide guidance on federal, state, and local employment regulations. • Counsel on employee benefits, compensation, and HR policy development. • Serve as a point‑of‑contact for the Executive Director, management team, and Board on labor‑related issues.
