Snow Removal Services - Washington County Highway

The Washington County is seeking expressions of interest from vendors to provide snow plowing, removal, and salting services for the county's highway. The contract will be for a one-year period, with the option to renew for up to four consecutive one-year periods. The vendor's place of business must be located within a 30-mile radius of the requested location(s). The county guarantees no minimum or maximum number of contracted hours. The evaluation criteria include how well the vendor's submission meets the predefined criteria set in the solicitation. • The contract is non-exclusive, on-call, and on an as-needed basis. • The vendor must provide equipment such as single axle dump truck with owner-supplied snowplow and salt spreader, small plow truck with min. plow blade, and skid loader and Bobcat. • The county will pay a flat rate retainer fee of $500.00 per required vehicle per term. • The vendor must attend a mandatory winter maintenance meeting.
