Aircraft Washer

The Offutt Air Force Base is seeking sources for an autonomous aircraft washer. The washer should be a semi-autonomous mobile robotic aircraft cleaning system controlled via an ergonomic, wireless remote control. It should be 100% electric (battery) powered and have an onboard battery that can hold a sufficient charge to complete at least one full wide-body aircraft cleaning cycle lasting approximately 6 hours. The equipment should also have integrated automatic safety shut-off sensors that immediately halt all motion and brush rotation if the equipment gets too close to or makes unauthorized contact with the aircraft skin. The scope of work includes: • Mobile Robotic Wash Base Unit • Adaptive Wash Arm & Soft Brush Assembly • Integrated Collision-Avoidance Sensor Suite • Wireless Remote-Control Unit (RCU) • Industrial Battery Charging Station • Operator & Maintenance training • On-Site Installation & Commissioning • New Equipment Training (NET) Course for 6 Individuals • 2-year warranty The contractor shall provide products that meet or exceed the requirements and provide delivery and installation of the equipment.
