EMERGENCY NOTICE - IVHQ- FY26 - FIFER TRANSFORMER REPLACEMENT

The Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking bids for the emergency replacement of a failed transformer at the Illinois Veterans Home Quincy. The project includes the removal and replacement of the failed transformer, as well as the provision of temporary power generation to support operations during the outage. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary equipment, materials, labor, and associated electrical work to safely install and restore full power. • The project is expected to start on 04/01/2026 and be completed by 05/01/2026. • The estimated cost of the project is $150,000. • The bidder must be able to respond immediately to the emergency situation and have the capacity to quickly assess and address the issue. • The bidder must also be able to provide temporary power generation to support operations during the outage.
