Crane Rental with Operator

The Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking a qualified contractor to provide crane rental services—including a certified operator and necessary rigging equipment—for a one‑year Blanket Purchase Order (with up to two optional extension years). Work will support maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement at various agency facilities (water treatment plants, pump stations, well sites, and yards) on an as‑needed basis, with both planned and emergency call‑outs. The contractor must submit hourly rates, mobilization/demobilization fees, overtime, standby, and rigging rates via the agency’s e‑procurement portal by the September 8, 2026 deadline. Key qualifications include at least two years of similar experience, certified operators (NCCCO or equivalent), compliance with OSHA, prevailing‑wage rules, and registration with the California DIR. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, subject to Board approval. • Provide crane (31‑100 ton capacity) with certified operator and rigging crew. • Mobilize/demobilize equipment to/from sites (e.g., Del Valle Water Treatment Plant). • Perform lifts of pumps, motors, generators, etc., during normal hours (7 am‑3 pm) and on emergency calls (response ≤ 24 hrs). • Submit detailed hourly, overtime, standby, and rigging rates. • Comply with OSHA, California Labor Code, prevailing‑wage determinations, and insurance requirements. • Contract term: 1 year (June 30 2027) with option to extend up to 2 additional years.
