Synopsis for P-8A Aircraft Horizontal Stabilizer Production Kits

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), together with the Royal Australian Air Force, intends to award a sole‑source contract to The Boeing Company for nine Horizontal Stabilizer Production Kits (H‑STAB) for the P‑8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft. Boeing is the only qualified source as the original designer and manufacturer of the P‑8A.
