The City of Watertown is seeking proposals for the lease of approximately 732 acres of agricultural/hay land located in Codington County, South Dakota. The initial lease term is two years with an option for a one-time two-year renewal. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Agricultural Land Proposal Attention: Finance Department" and delivered to the City of Watertown Finance Department by 2:00 PM, November 21st, 2025. Some row crops are not allowed, and subletting of the rented parcel is not permitted. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
