Description
The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City requires a contractor to provide medium voltage electrical equipment maintenance services. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repair for medium voltage demarcation switches, switchgears, and transformers. The services will be provided worldwide. The contract will be for a base year plus two option years. The contractor must demonstrate a high level of expertise and adhere to the highest industry standards.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Performing visual inspections of the entire MV distribution system
• Performing infrared scanning and inspection of all energized MV equipment
• Providing spare replacement parts and materials
• Conducting lock out/tag out procedures
• Drawing oil samples and conducting manufacturer-recommended tests
• Providing a trip report outlining site conditions, noted discrepancies, and operational functionality
